Industrial aspiration of metal chips
Metallic shavings are mainly generated in machining processes when drilling a metal piece, during milling, grinding, etc. Due to the same machining process, chips are projected with force and in multiple directions, making it very difficult to capture them to remove them.
Because they are small parts and particles of metal parts, their density is high, they accumulate quickly and can cause machine failures and / or accidents when projected out if they are not captured.
The most important factors to eliminate these shavings are two:
- A high power, to ensure that you can move and aspire the chips (density much larger than dust particles), and
- A capture adapted to the emission point, that is, it is necessary to understand how the chip will be expelled to design a system that facilitates the work of the air flow generated by the vacuum cleaner and to capture the chip.
